What is OyeHello?
OyeHello is an AI voice agent platform. It deploys human-sounding agents that place and answer phone calls to qualify leads, book meetings, and resolve support, in 10+ languages and around the clock.
How quickly can I go live?
Most teams launch their first agent within days. You design an agent, complete KYB, link a number, and go live. No engineering is required for the standard setup.
Do I need engineers to build an agent?
No. Describe the call, pick a voice, attach a knowledge base and a compliance pack, and publish, all from the dashboard. Developers can go deeper with the REST API and webhooks whenever they want.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Create a workspace, build an agent, and run test calls for free. Live outbound calling begins once you complete KYB, link a number, and add wallet balance.

Single-prompt or multi-prompt, which do I pick?
Use single-prompt for straightforward calls like reminders or confirmations. Use multi-prompt for branching flows where the conversation changes based on the caller answer, such as qualification or troubleshooting.
How do knowledge bases work?
Build a base from text snippets, uploaded files, and crawled links. Agents answer from your indexed content instead of guessing, and you keep adding sources over time as products and policies change.
What tools can an agent use on a call?
Agents can book a meeting, transfer to a human with context, send an SMS, and call a webhook to read or write data in your systems mid-call. You attach the tools an agent is allowed to use when you build it.
Can I test an agent before publishing?
Yes. Run a simulated customer or place a real test call to your own number to hear the voice, check the flow, and review the transcript before you publish and start dialing.

Which languages are supported?
OyeHello supports 10+ languages and dialects, including English, Hindi, and more. Coverage keeps expanding, and each language ships with natural, tuned voices.
Can one agent switch languages mid-call?
Yes. A single agent can detect the caller language during the conversation and switch fluently without dropping context, so you do not need a separate agent per language.
How natural do the voices sound?
Voices are ultra-natural and low-latency, tuned per language and accent. On paid plans you get premium voices designed to sound like a confident human rep rather than a robot.
What is the response latency?
Median response latency is under 330ms, fast enough that callers speak and are answered as they would with a person, including natural turn-taking and interruptions.

How large can an outbound campaign be?
The auto-dialer places up to 1,000 calls a minute with smart retries and scales to thousands of concurrent calls, while respecting your calling window and frequency caps.
How do I upload contacts and variables?
Upload a CSV, map columns to variables, and optionally remove invalid records and transliterate names to the agent language. The list is processed and shown as a table before the campaign runs.
How do I get a phone number?
Buy local, toll-free, or mobile numbers from the Numbers page after completing KYB. Numbers are rented monthly and billed separately from calling minutes.
What is KYB and why is it required?
KYB is Know Your Business verification. Telecom rules require a verified business before you can buy numbers and place live calls, which keeps the network trusted and your campaigns compliant.

Is OyeHello telecom compliant?
Yes. Built-in compliance packs enforce calling windows, DND and NCPR scrubbing, frequency caps, and occasion suppression on every dial, so campaigns respect the rules automatically.
Can I customize the compliance rules?
Yes. Create a pack, choose the gates you need, set parameters like start and end hours, and assign it to agents and campaigns. Some gates, like DND scrubbing, are always on.
Are calls recorded and stored?
Every call is recorded and transcribed, and retained for audit and QA. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and you control retention according to your policies.
Where is my data stored?
Enterprise and on-premise plans include data residency controls, so you choose where your workspace data is stored and processed. On-premise runs entirely in your own cloud or VPC.

How does pricing work?
OyeHello is pay as you go: calls are billed per minute against a prepaid wallet, with optional auto-recharge so campaigns never pause.
What happens if my wallet runs out?
Active calls finish and new calls pause until you top up. With auto-recharge enabled, the wallet refills automatically at the threshold you set so campaigns keep running without manual intervention.
Does OyeHello connect to my tools?
Yes. Agents sync calls, leads, and outcomes to your CRM and helpdesk, trigger webhooks for call events, and integrate with calendars, WhatsApp, and telephony providers out of the box.
Is there an API for developers?
Yes. A clean REST API and webhooks let you create agents, launch campaigns, stream call events, and write outcomes back into your systems, so you can drive OyeHello end to end from your own stack.
